So I got some stuff on Saturday

This last Saturday I just went to A-1 Comics and GameStop and got two items. Normally, most people would consider this normal, but not me. My only chance to go to places where stuff can be bought are the weekly grocery trips (which I don't attend) and the occasional bimonthly trip to Target. A-1 Comics I NEVER get to go to because it's like a super long ride from my house to there. I'm not sure why we don't go to GameStop often. Usually I don't buy stuff at either place, because a) there's nothing I want (this only happens at GS, because A1 always has an amazing selection of awesome stuff) or b) everything costs too much. But I still had some birthday money left over from buying the Famicom that I never spent this time, so I was barely able to get a copy of CoD MW2 CIB (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 collective in box [not new and sealed, but the manuals, disc, case, etc. are included]). I normally have no interest in shooter games, especially post-1986 ones, but my friends were insisting that I get this one. At A1 I got a new Gundam model. That would be my 3rd. Pictures below.

The 3 Gundams I have so far.
I often stack them so they're easier to store.
This is what the new one looks like built.

This is what happened when I took a picture of the box with my 3DS set to Low Light.
A lot of the stuff appears to be taken from the Sgt. Frog anime (my all-time favorite!).

This is not unlikely, Gundam is referenced in just about every episode.
I also staged a boxing fight since all 3 have been built. Mr. 7 Swords is
refereeing because he is as fragile as heck and wouldn't last a second
as a contender.

Ding ding ding! "Endless Waltz wins!" Probably from the enormous
size advantage (EW is on a 1/100 scale, the other two are 1/144).
Yeah... with summer here, I might have too much time on my hands.

My New Famicom (Family Computer)

My new game system, the Nintendo Famicom!

Awesome controllers! Notice that #II has a microphone and a speaker.

NES-FC controller comparison. (For those not in the know, the NES is the American version of the Japanese Famicom.)

For now it just sits on the NES.

FC-NES cartridge comparison. Notice the ridiculous size difference. "I hate it when I buy a plastic container of air and a NES game is inside."

So I just bought a Nintendo Famicom from Japan with my birthday money. About time it came, it took like 20 days to get here after it shipped. Unfortunately, I can't play it, as the 3 games I have for it don't seem to be working. I know that the games, not the system, are broken because a) The FC was listed as 'tested & working' when I bought it, b) the games were not, and c) the way it glitches out differs between games. One actually works, it's just that it has messed-up visuals and the game's sound turns off once the game starts. One game shows a recognizable title screen and is messed-up weirdness beyond that. The last game is just fuzzy. I'll have to pick up some namcot games (probably Dig Dug or Mappy, as those are personal favorites and are FC-only games [meaning they never got imported to the US]). Read more here. (I linked to the Japanese page because if you look up 'Famicom' on English Wikipedia, it redirects to the NES' page; like I said before, the Family Computer and Nintendo Entertainment System are basically the same system for different regions.)

Youtube Poop

So I just got Windows Movie Maker and I have made a YouTube Poop with various scenes from Wreck-it Ralph. I can't use visual gags, as I haven't figured out how to paste pics into scenes yet. I did add captions though. Check it out! It's totally clean, unless you consider Felix saying "potty" bad. My favorite quotes from this: " 'Anything to declare?' 'Lara Croft!' 'I get that a lot.' " "I can't spend a medal. I CAN spend garbage! I'm not going back without garbage!" "Do you have any idea what chocolate milk mix put me through?" "I've been all over RoadBlasters looking for dynamite with you...and then?! I got thrown in jail!" "I've never been serious about anything in my life. That's why I came straight here." 8/16/2013 Update: updated video.

Robotic Operating Buddy: A Day In The Life Of

This is R.O.B., a citizen of the Rec Room. Note that he happens to be a robot.

Here he is sharing a soda with his best friend, the Pooka. This along with candy bars composes their usual meals.

These are some of his other friends. They don't really do much. (From left to right: Mushroom, Sonic, R.O.B., ElecMan.)

R.O.B. mostly plays video games all day, his living area is filled with them. (Update: This picture got onto Taste of Awesome [http://www.tasteofawesome.com/] and got a 3-tier caption chain!)

Today it seems he fell asleep playing  Gyromite last night. Again.

Pooka woke him up and now they're trying to figure out how to read, I think. Maybe they just like the pictures.

R.O.B. wants to play this fun-looking game but alas, his short arms don't reach the controls.

He ends the day the way it started: playing the NES.

Of course he falls asleep doing so...
Yes! I have a post featuring the Robotic Operating Buddy, my favorite robot. This post is actually sort of parodying a post from another blog (called Famicomblog), and if you want to see the original post then here's a link. The original post looks at the
ファミリーコンピュータ ロボット (Family Computer Robot), R.O.B.'s Japanese cousin. They are pretty much twins, except the FR has red arms and a more yellowish skin tone. Read more here.

LBP2

These are some pictures I'm posting so that I can give someone a link to them. They're pictures of different things I've made in LittleBigPlanet 2.

I might write more on this later.

My Decision On The Future Of This Blog

I have made my final decision on the future of this blog! This blog will continue to be about whatever I find interesting in my daily life, and 2 separate, new blogs will be created for my adventures in retrogaming and LittleBigPlanet 2. I will provide links to these soon. That's the newest news for now, everyone!

An Update For My Blog, My Stuff, And My Feeling Of Negligence

Best Christmas present ever nominee.

This is the most huggable inanimate thing I've owned in my life.

I got this for free, funny story.

Look how sun-bleached the one in the bottom left is.
I, just like I do with my journal every few months, am posting mainly so that this blog doesn't look abandoned. (Seriously! I only posted twice in the entirety of last year!) Also, I got a lot of cool stuff. Some being the Virtual Boy, Hyperscan (I can't play it, though- it's missing a power supply + controller) , 1-3 new TVs, a new computer, some Famicom games (I don't actually have a Famicom, I just wanted the games [EDIT: I now have a Famicom and as it turns out, all 3 games{EDIT2: or the RF switch I use} are broken]) , an Atari 5200 game with the manual that I got for absolute free, a new-sealed Atari 2600 Dig Dug (Just to break the heart of every hardcore collector out there, I will tell you what I did with it; I opened it so that I could play it! [not the entire thing - I just lightly tore one edge of the already-coming-off-anyway sealing/shrinkwrap/whatever so that it could be opened]) for $10, lots of other games for the VB and 2600, a plush Pooka (you know, those little red inflatables from Dig Dug) , and a Gundam model that took me around 2 weeks/4-8 man hours to build because I had to rely completely on the pictures (do you speak Japanese? ... Neither do I.) in the 4-5 page instructions booklet and because there were 2 steps that took a very long time to figure out. I've attached pictures of everything. They aren't very good quality, because I took them from my 3DS as there is no way I'd use my theoretical $500 to buy a stinking camera. If you want any of the stuff, most of it can be found online (except for the Pooka, which might take a while to track down) or at thrift stores/garage sales. Also, I might consider reformatting this blog to a retrogaming-only thing, tracking all my awesome finds from eBay. Maybe I'll just start a whole new different blog that way, or just add that stuff to this blog, maybe throwing in posts on what I do in LittleBigPlanet 2. (LBP2 is an awesome PS3 game in which I am a game programmer/retro fanatic/some other stuff, you should try it! My PSN name is SP_Sour.) Anyway, that's all for now. (Except for these seemingly random phrases that will rank my blog higher in Google. Starting... NOW! harlem shake gungnam style what does it mean if you have how to jailbreak a news leaked what is music download apple iphone ipad ipod instagram facebook twitter ebay wikipedia)
